BMTC Commuters Advisory Committee (CAC)
comprising the representatives from the management of BMTC
and representatives from the public is constituted.
The Chairman of the Committee shall formulate the plan of
action to improve the services to the consumers by conducting
meetings of the committee once in three months. The decisions
taken during such meetings shall be implemented in letter
and spirit so as to improve the facilities to the traveling
public.

The Committee may interact with Commuters,
NGO's. Resident Associations and other Agencies. The Committee
shall meet once in three months on Thursday, of the last
week of the quarter or more frequency if so requested by
the Managing Director. The Committee will cover issues such
as:
- Feed back mechanism, corrective actions, rapport between
service providers (BMTC) and the traveling public.
- Citizens Charter additional support through public participation
- Resolution of problems, grievances
- Sharing of information
- Support of new ventures and formulation of ideas, innovative
and creative aspects aiming at improvements of the services
and Discussions on the recommendation of the CTF.
